This is a great chance if you''re looking to break through into the facilities maintenance industry that offers solid career experience, long term prospects and the chance to work alongside well experienced engineers.As a Trainee Electrical Engineer, you will shadow other mechanical and electrical engineers whilst gaining hands on experience, you''ll work on electrical plant systems, carrying out planned preventative (PPM) and reactive maintenance and learn how to fault find / troubleshoot systems.Trainee Electrical Engineer Duties: Perform maintenance, servicing, and testing of various electrical and mechanical systems, including Checking tap temperature, water flushing, AHUs, air conditioning systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and generators. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures. Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and daily inspections of plant areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and organisation at all times. Implement and follow PPM schedules in alignment with departmental objectives. Execute water management control measures as outlined in the Water Risk Assessment, such as flushing and temperature monitoring, while maintaining precise documentation.
