Mobile Engineer Electrical Maintenance

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work across a portfolio of sites in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive and minor works, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.

NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
• Complete accurate Site Visit Reports (SVRs) and daily job feedback.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and ensure excellent customer service.
• Work closely with scheduling teams to deliver PPM and reactive works within agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements, company policies and Safe Systems of Work, including PTW and RAMS.
• Identify and manage minor works and additional work opportunities.
• Liaise with subcontractors and specialist contractors when required.
• Assist with overseeing visiting specialist teams.
• Monitor costs and ensure works are delivered efficiently.
• Provide cover for the Supervisor when required.
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota.

Essential Requirements

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification - City & Guilds or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection or equivalent.
• NICEIC Test & Inspection qualification - essential.
• Experience of general and minor building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance legislation.
• Experience working with RAMS, PTW and Safe Systems of Work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage costs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

• L8 / Legionella training.
• Plumbing and hot water systems experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Experience within a commercial or facilities maintenance environment.
