Trainee Damper Engineer

Overview

Trainee Damper Engineer | Up to £32,000 | London and surrounding | Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week. The main purpose of this role is to assist the lead engineer in troubleshooting, maintain and repair smoke and fire dampers.Responsibilities

Attend customer sites to carry out the service of smoke, fire dampers and plant equipment with a lead engineer.Disassemble and reassemble damper equipment to check for worn or malfunctioning components.Provide technical support to customers and end users when needed.Seek technical guidance from more experienced team members.Requirements / Qualifications

Full clean UK driving licence.Experience working with power tools.Experience working from heights.Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. You may be expected to cooperate when requested to undertake a period of overtime and on the on-call rota once qualified. This role offers a company van and fuel card, Christmas shutdown, and 25 days holiday.Application
