Do you have City and Guilds Level 3 NVQ in Heating and Ventilation?

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Damper Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is you will be working on site at customer locations to troubleshoot, maintain and repair smoke and fire damper equipment within ventilation systems.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, plus Christmas shutdown, 25 days holiday, company van + fuel card.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm.

Responsibilities

Attend customer sites to carry out the service of smoke and fire damper plant equipment specified in the customer equipment register.

Disassemble and reassemble damper equipment to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.

Provide technical support to customers and end users when applicable and seek technical guidance from more experienced colleagues and supervisors for difficult and unusual situations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum 2 years'' service engineering experience in ductwork and dampers

Full UK drivers License

Minimum GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent
