Town Planner

Position: Town planning consultant 
Location: Leeds (Hybrid working available)

We are currently recruiting for an Town Planning consultant to join a well-established team based in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for a planning professional to develop their skills and experience within a consultancy environment, working alongside a team of experienced planners.

About the role:
The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including supporting the local plan process and preparing planning applications for residential developments. You''ll gain exposure to a variety of challenging sites, from brownfield to green belt land.

Key responsibilities:
·Advising clients on land and building development potential
·Assisting in the preparation of planning applications and appeals
·Providing policy advice and conducting research
·Collaborating with senior team members, clients, and other consultants

What we''re looking for:
·Previous experience in a planning role (local government, consultancy, or development experience is ideal)
·A relevant planning qualification
·RTPI membership (or working towards it)
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to manage your workload effectively
