Town Planner
Location: East Leeds
A leading purpose-built residential care home developer is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join its thriving Planning Team. With over 30 years of expertise in care home design and development, the organisation has built a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage in-house planning project work, including site appraisals and evaluations
- Prepare written reports, planning statements, and application documentation
- Lead on planning submissions and liaise with Planning Officers, consultees, and stakeholders
- Represent the organisation at Planning Committees and appeal hearings, as required
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Several years'' experience in a planning role (private or public sector)
- Relevant academic qualifications in Town Planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An ambitious, self-motivated, and collaborative approach
- A keen interest in the full land and planning process
- A full UK driving licence
