Interim Tourism Project Manager Location: East Suffolk (hybrid 1 day per week in the office) Contract: Interim, rolling 3 month contract Rate: Flexible The OpportunityWe are working with a forward-thinking local authority to recruit an experienced Interim Tourism Project Manager to support delivery of a high profile tourism mitigation programme linked to the Sizewell C (SZC) development. This is a dynamic and varied role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and enjoys working across public facing initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and creative project delivery.The RoleYou will play a key role in managing and delivering projects within a substantial tourism mitigation fund, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and the wider local business community. Key responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of tourism projects and initiatives as part of an annual implementation planSupporting delivery of both the Tourism Implementation Plan and Accommodation PlanLeading on programme promotion, communications, and stakeholder engagementManaging consultants and external contractors, including commissioning and contract oversightBuilding and maintaining strong partnerships with regional tourism bodies and local businessesSetting up and facilitating networking groups across the visitor economyMonitoring programme impact and supporting reporting to senior stakeholders and boardsManaging budgets and ..... full job details .....
