Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Toolroom Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing team in the Roborough area of Plymouth.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering competitive pay, bonus potential and overtime.

You will play a key role in maintaining, repairing and improving production tooling, jigs and fixtures, ensuring maximum performance, quality and reliability across the shop floor.

• -20.0022.00 per hour depending on experience.

• Bonus scheme and overtime opportunities.

• Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm working hours.

• Supportive and professional engineering environment.

• Manufacture parts to drawings.

• Design and build new jigs and fixtures.

• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and maximise uptime.

• Support new product introductions.

• Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams.

• Record maintenance activity via CMMS and manage spare parts.

• Machining experience within a production or job shop environment.

• Ability to work to tight tolerances.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Protrack SMX/RLX experience - desirable.

• Siemens ShopMill experience - desirable.
