Toolroom Machinist Toolmaker Machinist Tooling TechnicianPlymouth (Roborough Area) 20.00- 22.00 per hour DOE + Bonus + Overtime Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm Temporary to PermanentIntroductionEngineering excellence starts here.Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Toolroom Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing team in the Roborough area of Plymouth.This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering competitive pay, bonus potential and overtime.You will play a key role in maintaining, repairing and improving production tooling, jigs and fixtures, ensuring maximum performance, quality and reliability across the shop floor.What We Offer 20.00- 22.00 per hour depending on experience.Bonus scheme and overtime opportunities.Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm working hours.Temporary-to-permanent opportunity with long-term prospects.Supportive and professional engineering environment.Key DutiesManufacture parts to drawings.Design and build new jigs and fixtures.Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and maximise uptime.Support new product introductions.Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams.Record maintenance activity via CMMS and manage spare parts.RequirementsMachining experience within a production or job shop environment.Ability to work to tight tolerances.Ability to read engineering drawings.Protrack SMX/RLX experience - desirable.Siemens ShopMill experience - desirable.Interested?If you are a hands-on Toolroom Machinist, Toolmaker, Machinist or ..... full job details .....
