Tier 1 Site Manager

A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the fit-out phase of a major new-build hotel development in Wigan. This is a high-profile project requiring a strong construction professional with an extensive background delivering complex schemes for recognised Tier 1 businesses.Your new role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the internal fit-out works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site
• Coordinating all internal fit-out activities and trade interfaces
• Driving programme and monitoring progress against key milestones
• Ensuring health & safety compliance across all site operations
• Carrying out quality inspections and managing snagging processes
• Leading site meetings and liaising with project stakeholders
• Managing look-ahead programmes and short-term planning
• Supporting commissioning, testing and final handover

What you''ll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years'' experience working for Tier 1 main contractors
• Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial, hotel, healthcare, education or similar fit-out projects
• Experience managing projects from first fix through to handover
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• SMSTS, First Aid and Black CSCS Card
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive programme delivery
