Tier 1 Site Manager

Your new companyA leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the fit-out phase of a major new-build hotel development in Wigan. This is a high-profile project requiring a strong construction professional with an extensive background delivering complex schemes for recognised Tier 1 businesses.Your new roleReporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the internal fit-out works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities include:Managing subcontractors and direct labour on siteCoordinating all internal fit-out activities and trade interfacesDriving programme and monitoring progress against key milestonesEnsuring health and safety compliance across all site operationsCarrying out quality inspections and managing snagging processesLeading site meetings and liaising with project stakeholdersManaging look-ahead programmes and short-term planningSupporting commissioning, testing and final handoverWhat you''ll need to succeedMinimum 10 years'' experience working for Tier 1 main contractorsProven track record delivering large-scale commercial, hotel, healthcare, education or similar fit-out projectsExperience managing projects from first fix through to handoverStrong leadership and subcontractor management skillsSMSTS, First Aid and Black CSCS CardExcellent understanding of health and safety and quality processesAbility to work in a ..... full job details .....
