This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer or technician with testing, manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering experience who enjoys a practical role combining product testing, technical problem-solving, and project support.Working within a specialist RandD environment, you will play a key role in preparing and conducting fire tests, supporting product development activities, and ensuring testing programmes run effectively.The position offers a varied workload, combining technical testing, workshop activities, documentation, logistics, and occasional travel to customer and testing sites across the UK and internationally.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Prepare test specimens and installations for fire testing activities.Carry out practical assembly and installation work, including sheet metal and ductwork preparation.Support internal and external fire testing and manufacturing development programmes.Assist with test execution, data collection, and technical reporting.Interpret and work to relevant technical standards and procedures.Contribute ideas and practical insights to support ongoing product development projects.This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:Previous experience in a similar ..... full job details .....
