Test Technician

Role: Test Technician Location: WellingboroughHours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a weekSalary: £30,000 -£35,000 per annumOA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Test Technician to join a well-established client based in Wellingborough.What s in it for you? 23 days holiday + bank holidaysPension scheme with employer contributionLife assurance cover (3x salary)Access to additional perks after probation, including retail discounts and customer offersOngoing training and development opportunitiesOpportunity to join a growing global organisation Duties of a Test Technician: Testing to relevant procedures and specifications using the relevant customer/ software and field configuration.Disassemble/reassemble/clean and prepare customer field returns.Re-configure hardware to manually test products as necessary.Prompt identification of problems regarding process, quality and performance.Provide constructive feedback to Engineering and Management on technical and quality issues.Practical knowledge and experience of department test equipment.Provide cross training and support to other technical and operator staff.Visually inspect all types of product in accordance with defined inspection criteria, for defects and ensure that all inspection findings are recorded.Implementing changes in testing processes as required.Provide support to other areas of the business when required What we would like from you: Experience working within an electronics, engineering or technical ..... full job details .....
