Electrical Assembly and Test Technician

A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly and Test Technician to join its production team. This is a hands-on role focused on the electrical assembly, wiring and testing of complex industrial machinery, with opportunities to support wider electrical installation and improvement projects across the site. The Role As an Electrical Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for building, wiring and testing complete electrical systems prior to commissioning. Key responsibilities include: Wiring complete machine electrical systems, including sensors, motors, actuators and interconnects Carrying out functional testing, I/O checks and basic electrical fault-finding Verifying signal paths and confirming safe operation prior to software upload and HMI integration Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layout drawings and BOMs Supporting electrical installation work, including lighting circuits, distribution boards and equipment upgrades Assisting with new machinery installations and electrical improvement projects Working closely with mechanical, controls and production teams during machine build and system integration Supporting cable routing, equipment alignment and electrical system integration Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and quality Skills and Experience The successful candidate will ideally have: Proven experience in machine wiring, electrical assembly or industrial ..... full job details .....
