Test Technician Brake Dyno We re looking for a skilled and motivated Test Technician to join our high-performing team at a state-of-the-art Engineering Test Facility. This is a hands-on, technical role where you ll be instrumental in preparing, installing, and testing a range of prototype components and systems across various engineering programmes. You ll play a key part in delivering reliable, accurate test data to support critical decisions across departments including durability, emissions, certification, and performance. Benefits 3-6 Month project Outside IR35 £24ph Day shift Parking Canteen Key Responsibilities Preparation, instrumentation and installation of Units Under Test (UUTs) for a variety of rig-based test activities Operation of test cells in both manual and automated modes using systems such as AVL Puma 2.0 Carrying out dimensional checks and logging of accurate test data Performing servicing and minor repairs on test items during development Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times Supporting the wider team with rig setup, troubleshooting and facility maintenance Required Skills and Experience Essential: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Motor Vehicle Engineering Functional skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science Experience working in a technical test or development ..... full job details .....
