Active eDV required Our client, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to join their team in either Gloucester or Manchester. This permanent position requires active eDV clearance and offers the opportunity to work within a team environment to ensure the quality of various software solutions.Key Responsibilities:Apply test skills and experience within the context of an Agile software delivery teamCreate and maintain automated test frameworksDefine and manage test environments, creating and managing test data and toolsSupport estimation of test activitiesAssist the test team in interactions with the wider development team and resolve issuesContribute to the production of test documents using appropriate toolsRaise defects and support the wider development team in their resolutionManage creation of automated and manual test scriptsProduce test and deployment strategies and plans in compliance with project guidelinesJob Requirements:Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps delivery modelExperience deploying and configuring complex software under Linux/WindowsUnderstanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and demonstrable evidence of relevant test methodologies and toolsetsExperience producing test plans and reports using applicable toolsExperience with test automation frameworks and tools is desirableKnowledge of scripting languages and scripting for automationFamiliarity with AWS and/or AzureExperience with Continuous ..... full job details .....
