Temporary Management Accountant - Callington - £40,000 FTE Full or Part time - 2 - 3 months Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to be assisting a well-established and highly regarded business with the recruitment of a Temporary Management Accountant to support their finance function during a busy period.This is a hands-on role that will see the successful candidate working closely with the senior leadership team, taking responsibility for the production of management information and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function. The assignment offers flexibility of either a four or five-day working week but does require an on-site presence.Key responsibilities will include:Preparation of monthly management accountsAccruals, prepayments and journal postingsBalance sheet reconciliationsBudgeting and forecasting supportVariance analysis and reportingCashflow monitoring and reportingAssisting with year-end procedures and audit preparationProduction of ad-hoc financial reports and analysisSupporting wider finance projects as requiredThe successful candidate will be an experienced Management Accountant who is comfortable working autonomously and able to quickly familiarise themselves with an existing finance function. Applicants should possess strong month-end accounting experience, excellent analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
