Finance AssistantLocation: New Haw, Addlestone, Surrey Contract: Temporary Assignment until 31 August 2027Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the officeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team supporting key financial reporting activities. Working closely with the Financial Accountant, you will play an important role in month-end processes, financial reporting, audit support, and management accounting activities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting experience who is looking to further develop their finance career within a professional and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post month-end journals accurately and within deadlinesSupport the preparation of monthly management accountsPrepare monthly cash returns and funding requestsProduce Year-to-Date spend reports and discuss findings with budget holders and Division HeadsPrepare and validate data for customer invoicingProcess deferred income journals and other month-end adjustmentsMaintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including additions and disposalsComplete monthly returns and financial reporting requirementsRespond to audit queries during interim and year-end auditsLiaise with internal departments to obtain information and resolve financial queriesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous accounting or finance experienceKnowledge of accounting ..... full job details .....
