The Role:

University College Birmingham is looking for a Brick Technician to join our growing Construction team.

As a Brick Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our construction courses and ensuring our students have access to a safe, well-maintained and well-equipped learning environment. You will work closely with Lecturers, the Programme Manager and Head of Department to support high-quality teaching and learning and help achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.

Our Construction department is developing a cutting-edge facility in the heart of Birmingham, with high-quality resources and industry-standard equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and play a key role in supporting the development of the next generation of construction professionals.

You will support our expanding range of trade courses, working with students from Level 1 and Level 2, while helping to maintain the brickwork workshops to the highest standards.

We are looking for a highly motivated and practical individual who can work effectively as part of a team, communicate confidently with colleagues and students, and take a proactive approach to maintaining the workshop and supporting teaching activities.
