Chemistry Lab Technician

This Brigg Scientific client are a Chemical Manufacturer in Birmingham and they are looking for a Lab Technician to support their Analytical testing team, for both QC, R&D and Customer Support.

Key duties:

• Wet Chemistry Analysis involving titration, pH testing, moisture and-conductivity.
• Bespoke testing specific to manufactured products
• Sample preparation for further HPLC analysis
• Accurate record keeping
• Responsibility for testing sign off.
• General Lab stewardship
• Following regulated quality systems

Successful candidates will have a background in Scientific education or work experience. Applications are welcomes from recent graduates or those with work experience in the Sciences. Those with Chemistry focused degrees/experience-will have a distinct advantage.

This-is a contract role running for 14 months to cover a Maternity-leave.-

Rate of pay will be -12.99/hr for a 37 hour week.- Equivalent-salary of circa -25,000.-Hours are Monday to Thursday-7am - 3.30pm. Friday 7am - 12pm.
