The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you''ll be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed to manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
- Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
- Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Working collaboratively with the Service Advisors and Workshop Controller to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction
- Providing technical support and guidance to fellow technicians where required
- Completing all workshop documentation accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
- Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
- A solid understanding of modern vehicle systems and manufacturer standards
- Ability to consistently achieve productivity and quality targets
- MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering first-class workmanship
