Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, award-winning independent workshop near Crawley, West Sussex, for a skilled Vehicle Technician. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional seeking a supportive work environment, ongoing training, and competitive remuneration.

• Salary between -36,000 and -45,000 basic, dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday working week with bank holidays off

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Carry out diagnostics using industry-standard tools
• Identify faults accurately and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Support the workshop team to meet productivity targets
• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly
• Assist with MOT testing as qualified; MOT licence desirable but not essential (training funded by employer)

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with proven experience in servicing and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• MOT licence is desirable; training can be provided
• Full UK driving licence
• Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
