Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Eastbourne (Hybrid Working - 3 Days On-Site Per Week)
Salary: £50,000 - £57,500 (+Bonus & Benefits)

Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Project Manager with experience across engineering, product development, manufacturing or technology environments.
You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial requirements and concept through design, development and production, through to installation, delivery and final handover.
An ideal candidate will possess the following experience and knowledge:
- Proven experience managing projects across the Engineering or Product Development Lifecycle, from concept and design through to production and handover.
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, technology, product development or another technically complex environment.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, customers and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, risk management, budgets, dependencies and reporting.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear project objectives, plans and deliverables.
- Experience managing suppliers and third-party stakeholders, with strong commercial and stakeholder awareness.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, PowerBI or similar, with a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Industrial Design, Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Manage technical projects from initial requirements and concept through design, development, production, installation and final handover.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and requirements in collaboration with Project Managers, Engineers and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, documentation and regular status reports.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, commercial teams, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance against time, cost, scope, quality and customer requirements, taking corrective action where required.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and supplier deliverables, escalating where appropriate.
- Lead project meetings and stakeholder communications, ensuring actions, decisions and deliverables are clearly tracked and followed through.
- Support continuous improvement and solutions-focused problem solving across project delivery and engineering activities.
- Previous experience within an Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or Technology environment.
