Responsibilities:Ensuring that the Facility is maintained efficiently and effectively in line with client expectations and to a standard that is pleasant, safe and compliant with all relevant guidance and legislationExperience in property maintenance and development in a Hard FM capacityPlan and deliver effective property maintenance systemsEnsure that maintenance duties are carried out to support the objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of any relevant resident groupsLiaising with Client Representatives ensuring positive constructive relationships based on long term partnershipMonitoring performance and provide formal monthly reports to the client and the Contracts Manager confirming compliance with the requirements of the contract and identifying issues for discussion, future workload, risks and opportunitiesControlling expenditure on delegated budgets within agreed limits, ensuring that value for money is achievedProactive and effective risk management; establishing contracts, procedures, health and safety systems and audits which ensure that the services are compliant with legislation and that contingency plans are in placeCarry out any other duties assigned by the Contract Manager in connection with RFM''s operational requirementsEnsure personal achievement and development plans/Appraisals for staff under their control are completed and reviewed each year and ensure training requirements are deliveredEnsure site managers are aware of their roles and responsibilities and are aligned between all other departments; including but not limited to, hard and soft services, HR, SHE and procurementWhat you''ll need

Qualifications:Degree/diploma or professional qualification in a Facilities Management discipline or equivalent experiencePrevious experience in a supervisory capacityExperience in subcontractor managementAbility to undertake a range of audits from quality, HandS and FSAA recognised health and safety qualification e.g. IOSHGood level of computer literacyAnalytical and problem solving skillAble to demonstrate proficiency in the use of CAFM systemsTechnical background is requiredThe successful candidate will require a PVG/Disclosure Check.Who we''re looking for

The Technical Facilities Manager reports to the Contract Manager and will assist them with delegated reporting, budget, management, and meeting tasks. The job holder requires the ability to manage client relations, internal teams, and external suppliers.
