As a Technical Director, you’ll typically be working on a variety of projects from universities to high-rise residential towers, with plenty of international projects. The goal is to enable innovative architectural design without compromising the fire safety of the building.You’ll run through design information and liaise with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.Help inform the design team about changes that could increase the safety of the building.Expect to be guided through a variety of software packages, fire standards, team briefings and client updates, especially as you start.We assist the successful candidate toward professional registration via IFE and other professional organisations.Qualifications

BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.Role based from any of the UK major offices.What’s in it for you
