Technical Director - Fire Engineering

Overview

Technical Director role based in the UK with opportunities to work on a variety of projects from a university in Scotland to a high-rise residential tower in London, including international projects. The role focuses on enabling innovative architectural design while ensuring fire safety in buildings.Responsibilities

Lead design information reviews and liaise with other WSP disciplines such as Facades, Acoustics and Structures.Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service.Inform the design team about changes that could increase building safety.Support professional registration toward IFE and other professional organisations.Participate in a structured development programme and ongoing professional skills training.Qualifications

BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Extensive experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.What we offer
