Technical Coordinator
About the Role
This full-time Technical Coordinator role in Reading supports operational and business objectives through accurate administration and reporting. Acting as first point of contact, the postholder handles enquiries from colleagues, customers and external partners, collates information, performs straightforward analysis and produces regular reports. Maintaining precise records within Thames Water systems is essential, alongside administering business processes to agreed standards and service levels. Strong organisational ability, confidence, clear communication and attention to detail suit this position. The salary ranges from £16.54 to £19.23 per hour, depending on skills and experience. You’ll play an important role in supporting the team to meet its operational and business objectives, working with colleagues, customers and external partners while keeping information, systems and processes accurate and up to date.
What you’ll be doing as a Technical Coordinator
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries from internal and external customers and business partners.
- Collate information and data, carry out straightforward analysis and produce regular reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Thames Water systems.
- Support and administer business processes in line with agreed standards and service levels.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with external contacts where required.
- Work with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, providing a professional and customer-focused service.
What you should bring to the role
- Strong administration experience, ideally gained within a busy operational, technical or customer-focused environment.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage your workload and keep accurate records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional approach when working with different stakeholders.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to deal with enquiries in a helpful and professional way
- Good attention to detail and numeracy skills, particularly when working with information, data and reports.
- Ability to learn quickly and develop a good understanding of the team, its processes and how the wider business operates.
