  • Conduct ongoing evaluation and peer reviews of consultant designs to ensure value engineering and statutory compliance.

  • Obtain utility records and enquiries for new development sites.

  • Collaborate with Technical Team colleagues to discharge planning conditions and building regulations.

  • Ensure high-quality technical drawings and approvals are in place to support efficient site starts and minimise risk.

  • Lead and manage external consultants in the preparation of production information to meet agreed programme, fee, and scope.

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of design programmes at progression meetings.

  • Oversee statutory enquiries, sewer connections, and legal agreements to support project timelines.

  • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures across all activities.

  • Attend site progress meetings, inspections, and cross-functional project reviews.

  • Provide technical responses to on-site queries and resolve construction-related challenges.

  • Support subcontractor interviews and issue construction drawings/information as required.

What You''ll Need

To be successful in this role, you''ll bring:

  • A degree in Civil/Building Engineering or an HNC/HND in a construction-related subject with relevant experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-capable of managing multi-disciplinary teams and presenting confidently.

  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude and a keen eye for detail.

  • Competence in IT systems and design tools, including AutoCAD.
