Junior Technical Author Overview We''re looking for a motivated Junior Technical Author to join a growing team working on highly secure communications projects within the UK defence and national security sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience creating technical documentation who is looking to develop their career. You''ll work alongside experienced engineers and technical authors to produce clear, accurate documentation that supports critical defence programmes. This is an onsite role based in Cheltenham, offering the opportunity to work closely with highly experienced technical teams in a secure environment. What You''ll Be DoingProducing and updating technical documentation for secure communications systems.Working with engineers and project teams to understand technical information and present it in a clear and easy-to-follow format.Creating user guides, installation instructions, operating procedures and maintenance documentation.Ensuring documents are accurate, well-presented and comply with customer and security requirements.Managing document revisions and version control.Supporting the continuous improvement of documentation standards and templates.Participating in technical reviews and learning from experienced members of the team.What We''re Looking ForSome experience writing or maintaining technical documentation within a technical, engineering, IT or defence environment.Excellent written communication skills with strong attention ..... full job details .....
