Technical Author

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and well-known manufacturing business located in Pershore. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to independently produce high-level documentation. You will work hands-on with the machinery to translate complex engineering into clear, accurate manuals and qualification packages. This position is office based, working Monday Friday 08:00am 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £40,000 which will be pending relevant, previous experience. Technical Author main duties: Producing full documentation packages (Manuals, IQ/OQ, SDS, HDS, DQ, and FDS). Working directly with physical machinery to ensure documentation accuracy. Contributing to the department to help streamline documentation processes. Ensuring all documentation meets required industry standards. Technical Author required skills and experience: Minimum 3 years in a technical authoring role with a technical or automation background. Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written English and communication skills. Organised, attentive to detail, and a desire to pursue a career in engineering. Taking care of the company and customers as though they were your own. Pursuing new ideas and listening to creative suggestions. Encouraging initiative and adopting a well-managed environment.
