Technical Assistant

Do you have experience working in a Technical department within food manufacturing and are-wanting a new challenge then I have a role for you!

This opportunity is for a Technical Assistant where you can work alongside an established team pulling in the same direction.You would use your technical experience to support with This position requires a strong understanding of specification writing, artwork approval and customer on line portal systems.

Repsonsibilites-

• Responsible for artwork and specification approval & updates
• Updating specifications on customer portals
• Arrange collection & testing such as shelf life and various chemical testing, logs and trent results for KPI reporting
• Support the Technical Manager with site & customer audits
• Assist with traceability & mass balance exercise during customer audits.

Requirements

• A good working knowledge of current BRC standard
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
• Familiarity with online customer specification systems / portals
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for communication with suppliers, customers, staff and audit situations.
• Ability to create and update customer and product specifications
• Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety or willing to work towards
