Role: Technical and Quality AssistantLocation: Milton KeynesHours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a weekSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experienceAn excellent opportunity has now arisen for a post graduate or entry level Technical and Quality Assistant to join a well-established client based in Milton Keynes, within the Food and Manufacturing industry.Benefits: Competitive salaryOpportunity to lead a major accreditation projectCareer progression opportunitiesCompany pension schemeSupportive and professional working environment Duties of a Technical and Quality Assistant: Support the Technical team with the day-to-day management of food safety and quality standards.Assist with maintaining and updating technical documentation and quality management systems.Support the site in its transition from SALSA to BRCGS accreditation.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of BRCGS-compliant systems and procedures.Support HACCP, food safety and quality management activities.Assist with internal, customer and third-party audits.Maintain accurate records relating to quality, traceability and food safety.Support investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints and quality issues.Assist with implementing corrective and preventative actions.Carry out routine factory checks relating to GMP, hygiene and food safety.Support product traceability exercises and mock recalls.Assist with supplier and raw material documentation and approvals.Liaise with Production and ..... full job details .....
