Technical Lead - TypeScript/Node.js/AWSLocation: Leeds - Hybrid, approximately 1 day per week onsiteContract: Until 31 March 2027Start: ASAPRate: Up to £485 per day (Inside IR35) We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join a newly formed development team delivering a high-profile digital transformation programme within the healthcare sector. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will work closely with architects, designers and engineers to take high-level requirements and turn them into secure, scalable and production-ready digital services. The role has a strong focus on TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, APIs and microservices, with previous experience working with FHIR/HL7 and healthcare technology highly desirable. The Role As Technical Lead, you will: Provide strong technical leadership to a newly formed engineering team. Lead the design and development of Back End services using TypeScript and Node.js. Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. Work closely with Technical Architects and Designers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to modern Front End applications using React, Angular or similar technologies. Build and deploy solutions within AWS environments. Champion clean, secure and maintainable engineering practices. Drive automated testing using Jest, Playwright or similar tools. Support CI/CD and automated deployment using GitHub Actions.
