Team Manager - Fostering - Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight are looking to engage an experienced social worker as an team manager to join its Fostering team. Pay Rate - 47.50ph. 3 months long contract. As Team Manager, you will provide effective leadership and management to a team of social workers and fostering professionals, ensuring that practice is child-focused, safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards. You will be responsible for: Managing, supporting and developing a team within the Fostering Service. Providing effective supervision, guidance and professional support to social work staff. Ensuring high standards of practice and safeguarding are maintained. Supporting the recruitment, assessment, approval and ongoing support of foster carers. Monitoring workloads, performance and case progression. Ensuring statutory responsibilities and relevant policies are met. Working collaboratively with children, young people, foster carers and partner agencies. Contributing to service development and continuous improvement. Providing professional leadership and promoting best practice across the team.
