The successful candidate will lead a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers, ensuring the effective delivery of statutory and legislative duties while promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.Your daily responsibilities will include:Leading and managing a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers within the Assessment and Intervention Service.Providing effective supervision, guidance and support to social work staff.Ensuring the delivery of statutory social work duties and responsibilities.Promoting the welfare and safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people.Effectively managing risk and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to safeguard children.Supporting high-quality assessments and interventions with children and families.Creating a supportive, collaborative and positive working environment within the team.Providing professional leadership and promoting strong social work practice.Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children ..... full job details .....
