Team Manager Family Support and Child Protection Bexley Location: London Borough of Bexley Pay Rate: Up to £44.77 per hour (Umbrella) Contract: Locum We are currently working with the London Borough of Bexley to recruit an experienced Team Manager for their Family Support and Child Protection Team within Children''s Services. This is a frontline management role leading a team working with children and families requiring ongoing statutory intervention. You''ll provide strong operational leadership, oversight of complex safeguarding work and high-quality supervision, ensuring children receive timely and effective support while maintaining consistently high standards of Social Work practice. Duties Managing and providing leadership to a team of qualified Social Workers. Providing regular supervision, case direction and professional support. Overseeing complex Child in Need and Child Protection cases. Providing management oversight of risk, safeguarding and key decisions. Ensuring assessments, plans and interventions are completed to a high standard. Monitoring workloads, performance and statutory timescales across the team. Quality assuring Social Work practice, assessments and case recording. Supporting practitioners with complex cases and professional decision-making. Promoting effective multi-agency working with partner services. Driving improvements in practice and outcomes for children and families.
