Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary) Newcastle£480 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)September 2026 July 2027The School and RoleWe are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Newcastle. This full-time role is due to begin in September and will continue until July. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am 3:30pm.Working within the team, the desired Teaching Assistant will support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.The successful candidate must hold a full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and have recent experience working within a Primary setting. A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and supporting children with a range of needs is essential.RequirementsThe desired TA will have; Experience of working with primary school aged childrenExperience of working with pupils with SENDA passion for the progress of primary school pupilsAn ability to work as part of a teamQTS within the UK What we offer As a EYFS TA applying to be part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
