Teaching Assistant (Full -time, Temporary)Cramlington£462.80 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)ASAP ongoingThe School and RoleA supportive school in Cramlington is seeking a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their SEN base, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6 with a high level of additional needs. The role requires a patient and nurturing approach, helping children access learning, regulate emotions, and develop communication and social skills. The successful candidate will be confident building positive relationships with pupils and contributing to a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.RequirementsThe desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;- Experience of working with primary school aged children- Experience of working with pupils with SEND- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils- An ability to work as part of a teamWhat we offerAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
