Teaching AssistantLocation: Harlow (Greater London/Essex Border) Position: Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Pay: 1,800 - 2,200 per monthVeritas Education are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Harlow who are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new academic year.This is a full-time role supporting pupils across the classroom, including providing 1:1 and small group support where required. You will play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and make strong academic and social progress.The school has a strong focus on inclusion and creating a positive learning environment for all pupils. Experience supporting children with additional needs (SEN) is beneficial, but not essential - the school is open to graduates or individuals with a genuine interest in working within education.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport for Pupils:Provide classroom support across a range of subjects and activitiesWork 1:1 or with small groups to support learning and developmentHelp pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivatedSupport children with additional learning or behavioural needsSupport for Teachers:Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisationHelp maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive environmentWork closely with the class teacher to deliver effective supportRequirementsEssential:GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and MathsStrong ..... full job details .....
