The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide high-quality classroom support to teachers and pupils across a range of year groups.
• Deliver targeted interventions and provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils achieve their full potential.
• Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence in their learning.
• Support children with a variety of additional needs, including SEND, where required.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when working across schools within the Trust.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience supporting children or young people within a school or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning.
• A genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils succeed both academically and personally.
• The ability to work confidently as part of a wider school team.

Essential Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK.
• Two satisfactory professional references covering the last two years.
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational environment.
