Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Trust of schools across Barnsley on a supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children and is looking for flexible opportunities across a variety of primary school settings. Roles are available for both short-term and longer-term placements across the Barnsley area.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent prior experience.
• Have recent experience supporting pupils in a UK primary school environment.
• Provide effective support to teachers and help create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Work confidently with individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs.
• Be flexible, dependable and passionate about supporting children''s learning and development.
