Key Responsibilities

• Support class teachers with day-to-day classroom activities and resource preparation.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group intervention.
• Assist pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Help foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus, though compassionate and adaptable beginners are welcome.
• Safeguarding: All appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and satisfactory references.
• Location: Based in or able to easily commute around Southampton.
