Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) HampshireAcademics is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Hampshire for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.This varied role will involve delivering whole-class lessons to cover PPA and staff absence, alongside providing interventions and classroom support when required. Monday to Friday, 8:35am-3:55pmStart date: ASAP / after half term Daily rate of pay: 110 per dayFull HLTA training available where requiredTo apply for this role, you will need to:Have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.Build positive relationships with children, including those with SEND.Deliver lessons from teacher-prepared plans and provide feedback on learning when the teacher is not available.Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.Be calm, adaptable, organised and confident working independently and as part of a team.Understand safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is beneficial, but a willingness to learn is essential.
