Classroom Assistant Newbury (RG20) Location: Newbury, Welford, West Berkshire Salary: £95 £110 per day, depending on experience Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm, term time only Your Role As a Classroom Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis. Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours. Supporting children with additional learning needs, including SEND. Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a calm, inclusive classroom environment. Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum activities. Monitoring pupils'' progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. Supporting pupils'' social and emotional development where required. Following school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety procedures. The Right Person: We are looking for someone who is: Caring, patient and approachable.
