Are you a recent graduate, considering a career change or looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference?

We have five opportunities for SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Oxford.

Previous experience working in an SEN school is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong interpersonal skills, a caring nature and the patience and resilience needed to support children and young people with additional needs.

Whether your background is in psychology, care, youth work, childcare, sport, retail or customer service, your transferable skills could be valuable in this role.

Gain practical experience in a specialist educational setting.
Develop your understanding of special educational needs.
Work full-time during term time.
Access a temporary-to-permanent employment pathway.
Benefit from a paid trial day.
Receive support throughout the recruitment process.
Start as soon as possible, subject to suitability and required checks.
What Will You Be Doing?
You will help pupils engage with learning, develop social skills and build confidence and independence.

Your duties may include supporting classroom activities, assisting teachers, encouraging positive behaviour and providing individualised support to pupils with different needs.

You will be part of a school team working to create a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
