The school is committed to providing pupils with the individual support they need to engage positively with their education and school environment.The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis throughout the academic year. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide classroom and pastoral support to pupils with ALN, including a group of boys who can display challenging behaviour, helping them remain engaged with learning and manage their behaviour effectively.The successful Learning Support Assistant will have: Experience supporting children or young people with ALNExperience working with secondary school aged pupils is desirableConfidence supporting pupils who can display challenging behaviourStrong behaviour management and communication skillsA patient and resilient approachThe ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff In return for the above you can expect to receive: A dedicated team of consultants available ..... full job details .....
