Salary: £92.63 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly community SEND school based in Trafford, which has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. The school provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils with additional needs are supported to develop their confidence, independence and learning.

The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism / ASD, ADHD and PMLD, working alongside teaching staff to provide individualised classroom support and help pupils engage with their learning.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children and young people within a UK school is essential
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, PMLD or other additional needs is desirable
• Experience providing effective classroom and individual support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• A positive and adaptable attitude
