TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in the DE24 area to recruit an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The school has a welcoming and inclusive ethos, a supportive leadership team and is proud to have achieved an Outstanding OFSTED rating, creating an environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time HLTA from September, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 3:30pm. The successful HLTA will provide classroom cover across all year groups, supporting teachers with engaging lessons, maintaining positive learning environments and helping pupils achieve their full potential throughout the school day.

The successful HLTA will have:

• HLTA status or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience working within a UK primary school setting
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed
