TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Paignton, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential, with a dedicated leadership team committed to developing both pupils and staff.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning opportunities while providing additional support to pupils with SEND. SEND experience is highly desirable, and being a driver would be advantageous.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is desirable
• Experience working within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach
• A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
