The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students within mainstream lessons, provide targeted interventions where required and work closely with teaching staff to ensure all students are fully engaged and able to access learning effectively.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, proactive and supportive approach to learning
• Good classroom awareness and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
